西の湖の夕日 Sunset in Nishinoko

 This is called "Nishinoko", one of the inner lakes of Lake Biwa. It is located in Omihachiman-City in the south coast of Lake Biwa and was added to the Ramsar registration area on October 30, 2008. It is specified in the Wildlife Sancturary. Many kinds of birds from the northern countries fly into the lake to spend the winter. This area is one of my favorit
