We went to take pictures with a group of photographers to Togakushi Highland in Shinshu from Saturday, May 30 till Sunday, May 31. First, we went to Togakushi Shrine. There was a path to the main hall, which is well known for the rows of Japan cedars.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy and rainy. However, there were a lot of visters in the shrine.
Then we went to the pond called Kagami-ike, the Mirrow lake. As it was cloudy, it was impossible to see the mountain rainge of Togakushi. But we could enjoy the quiet, foggy lake. The surface of the lake reflected the woods surrounding it. Now and then, the sun shone through clouds.
On Sunday, it rained. We went to the lake again. I enjoyed taking photos when it was raining. It was my first experience. I had bought a tool which fix a umbrella to the camera. It was very useful. I could keep my camera from the rain.
Then we moved to Azumino, where we took the picture of the water mills. On the way to Azumino, there was a beautiful site called Oyami wetlands.
